Remember Battle of the Books at your local library?
Did you see The Guardian's Top 100 Books list?
That got me thinking ... let's do our own Battle of the Books this summer, using that list!
Here are the rules:
This contest relies HEAVILY on the honor system – but we're all honorable people yes?
- Grab the Google Sheet by submitting the form below.
- You'll notice each book has a pull-down. Mark the books you know you've already read FOR SURE. (For instance, I think I've read 44 of them, but I only marked 40, as I'm not sure.)
- Start reading the rest!
- Mark them as you go. I'll report the leaderboard in the newsletter.
- Contest will run from now through Labor Day.
- Whomever hits the highest number of books read by Labor Day will win a prize. I'm working on that. It may be discounts on my services, it may be a stack of books you didn't get to yet ... who knows. This is a WIP.
